Launched in 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina, F3 has become a global phenomenon with over 3,400 weekly workouts offered across 49 states. This growth is driven by men who have experienced positive transformations through their participation. F3 stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith, with faith broadly defined as believing in something beyond oneself. Curious to learn more? The Winchester/Frederick County area got its first F3 workout in December of 2021. This was inspired by the High Impact Men of F3 Blue Ridge and directly supported by the Charles Town, West Virginia PAX. These men - who had been Freed to Lead - recognized the need in the Northern Shenandoah Valley and immediately responded, officially launching the Appleseed AO at Jim Barnett Park on January 1, 2022.
We all hit that point where it was time to ditch the excuses and trade our couches for something better—little did we know that the "something better" was an F3 workout. It's the first step on your path to becoming the best version of yourself.
Men need real connections with other men who strive to be strong fathers, husbands, and leaders. Isolation can be detrimental, but here's the chance to transform your community and your family's future.
While getting fit is a bonus, the true draw of F3 is the camaraderie, brotherhood, and supportive community. Come experience an F3 workout near you and help us fulfill our mission: building and nurturing small workout groups for men, fostering strong male leadership in our communities.
We welcome men of all fitness levels and all physical abilities to our workouts. We have no requirement for membership other than you show up on time to the location and follow what the workout leader has planned. We will not leave any man behind!
Fitness, check. Fellowship, check. But what's the Faith part of F3? We do not affiliate with any religion or denomination, but we all commonly acknowledge that we are not the creators of the universe. F3 is about living third, placing the needs of our families and others ahead of our own, but also recognizing that there is a higher power than ourselves.
